Happy Memorial Day! A special thank you and working on starting a business

Happy Memorial Day

Hello everyone! Happy Memorial Day! Tho, not sure I understand why we say happy, when it is a somber day? Anyhow, I hope you all are staying safe and sound? I know there are a lot of crazy things happening these days. Are you doing anything special today?

I just wanted to take the time and give thanks to all the military and the vets. This year I would love to include the first responders, doctors, nurses, police, postal service, grocery store employees, Amazon employees, and anyone else I may have left out. It is a shame that you have to risk your lives today, helping us battle the war against this pandemic. Sadly, people think people are expendable these days, so your job is a lot harder than it should be. So, I wanted to say a big huge thank you!

I know I have not been on much, been kind of busy looking for income. You need experience to get a job, but you need a job to get experience. So, what is a girl to do? I decided to start a proofreading business. So, I am reading all I can about proofreading, grammar, and starting a business. I am 51, but I learned that you are never too old to start over. At least, I hope not.

How about you? If you could start a business, what kind would it be and why? Who knows, maybe we all can help each other by collaborating?

Hope you all have a wonderful holiday, and please remember why we celebrate it! Have a great week!

Luv and hugs, Renee
